Alphasip

Currently, life expectancy of the European population is increasing and health care is becoming more demanding. This is creating an increase in governmental expenditure, requiring imaginative solutions. The Aragonese company AlphaSIP has the challenge to develop chips for five-minute disease diagnosis in a cost-effective way.

The Aragonese company AlphaSip will be participate in the manufacturing of a chip that will facilitate the diagnosis and the treatment of disease such as diabetes, heart attacks or cancer. Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon, was the venue chosen yesterday to initiate the European Project in which AlphaSIP participates.
In the Cajal4EU – as the project is called – thirty multinational companies and European technological research centers are collaborating with a total budget of 25 million Euros.
