AlphaSIP is a Nanotechnology company focused on the development of sensors based on carbon surfaces to develop pioneer techniques in the digital diagnostic area.
AlphaSIP’s main goal is to design, develop and produce molecular diagnostic chips that allow immediate and effective illness detection, promoting better health care services for patients and great advances towards personalized medicine.
AlphaSIP has collaboration agreements with important companies and benchmark investigation groups in the area of Nanotechnology, such as Nantero, a Harvard University spin-off, AlphaSzenszor, the Complutense University of Madrid, the Nanoscience Institute of Aragón, the Life Science Institute of Aragón, the University of Zaragoza, the CEEI and the National Microelectronic Center of CSIC.
Mission
ALPHASIP’s mission is to assemble a Carbon Nanotube biosensor to offer device technology for the development of Systems In a Package.
Currently, we are collaborating with international research groups from Harvard University and national Universities and research centers such as the National Microelectronic Center, the University Complutense of Madrid and the University of Zaragoza. This cooperation results in intense R& D and development of the next generation biosensor for human health and environmental monitoring. In AlphaSIP we combine university research with the integration of benchmark companies namely Alpha Szenszor and Nantero.
Vision
AlphaSIP aims to become the benchmark company in Carbon Nanotube biosensors, for fast, very sensitive and reliable Point of Care diagnosis.
The Company’s primary focus is on Haematology and Hemostasis segments, which have exponentially grown in the past decade, due to the increase in the number of individuals affected by Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) and an ageing society.
The overall aim of AlphaSIP’s R& D is to evaluate the expected impact of material innovation, equipment and advanced manufacturing processes and to drive health care towards personalized medicine.
