The ASIP chip is a new digital method to replace the slower and more complex E.L.I.S.A technique.

The ASIP chip uses FET- based sensors (Field Effect Transistor) that detect changes in the conductivity on the surface of the chip, resulting in real-time diagnosis. The core of the platform is the ultrasensitive biosensor chip based on nanotubes.

Nowadays, the laboratory diagnostic routine uses a technology called E.L.I.S.A. (Enzymed-xLinked Inmuno Sorbant Assay), a proven and solid method starting to be superseded by the new digital technologies.
